Ntathu Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy is part of our Terms of Service and outlines the rules you must follow when using any of Ntathu's services. Our goal is to provide a safe, secure, and respectful environment for all users. Any violation of this policy may result in the immediate suspension or termination of your Ntathu Account.
Summary: The Core Principle
Do not use our Services to do anything illegal, harmful, spammy, or that infringes on the rights of others. Be a responsible user.
1. Illegal Activities
You are strictly prohibited from using our Services to conduct, promote, or facilitate any activity that violates any applicable law or regulation in Zimbabwe or your local jurisdiction. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Fraud, scams, phishing, or any form of financial crime.
- Infringing on intellectual property rights, including copyright, trademark, and patent infringement.
- Selling or promoting illegal goods, services, or substances.
- Engaging in or promoting gambling in jurisdictions where it is illegal.
2. Harmful and Hateful Content
You may not create, upload, or distribute any content that is:
- Hateful or Discriminatory: Content that promotes hate speech, violence, or discrimination against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
- Harassment and Bullying: Content that targets individuals with abuse, threats, or unwanted sexual advances.
- Violent or Graphic: Content that glorifies extreme violence, self-harm, or cruelty, unless it is for legitimate news, educational, or documentary purposes with appropriate context.
- Sexually Explicit: Publicly posting pornographic or sexually explicit material.
- Misinformation and Disinformation: Knowingly distributing false or misleading information that is likely to cause public harm.
3. Platform and AI-Specific Abuse
Our platforms, especially Ntathu AI, are powerful tools. You are prohibited from using them in the following ways:
- Generating Malicious Code: Using the AI to write viruses, malware, or code for hacking purposes.
- Academic Dishonesty: Submitting AI-generated content as your own work for academic credit without proper citation or permission.
- Automated Abuse (Spamming): Using automated scripts or bots to create accounts, send messages, or otherwise overload our systems.
- Reverse Engineering: Attempting to decompile, reverse engineer, or discover the underlying source code or proprietary models of our Services.
- Impersonation: Impersonating another person, brand, or entity in a deceptive or misleading manner.
4. Security and System Integrity
You must not attempt to compromise the security or integrity of our Services. This includes:
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or our administrative systems.
- Uploading or distributing viruses, trojans, worms, or any other malicious software.
- Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of our systems without our express written permission.
5. Fair Use (Ntathu Connect)
When using the Wi-Fi service provided by Ntathu Connect, you agree to not:
- Engage in high-bandwidth activities that monopolize network resources and degrade the service for other users (e.g., running servers, continuous large-file torrenting).
- Attempt to bypass the captive portal or extend your session beyond the authorized time limit.
Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to us immediately at abuse@ntathu.net. We take all reports seriously and will investigate accordingly.
We reserve the right to interpret this policy and make the final decision on whether a violation has occurred. This policy may be updated at any time.
